About the Role:


We're hiring a Senior Project Manager who will also be responsible for Client Success. You will be managing Software Development projects for eCommerce clients from end to end. You’ll also be responsible for communicating with the client, managing expectations and ensuring project delivery as per JIBE’s standards.

Who you are:


You are a self-starter and team player who is passionate about web technologies, an interest in eCommerce, and excited to grow your skillset and put your knowledge to good use by contributing to the success of our clients, partners and communities.

You have experience using and learning a wide arrangement of project management best practices such as Agile Methodology, Scrum Framework. You love solving complex problems, are detail oriented, and have a keen eye for what is best for your Clients.

What You'll Do


  • You’ll be in charge of the entire project life cycle: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and closing
  • Project Level Responsibilities:
  • Developing/maintaining clear project plans by setting deadlines, monitoring the progress and managing reports/necessary documentation for multiple projects.
  • Analyzing risks to projects and managing them by solving impediments to ensure on-time project delivery
  • Organizing/motivating the project team by keeping communication open and honest
  • Enabling the team for success by identifying team's need such as guidance, training or coaching; this is done in conjunction with Operations Lead
  • Making sure the project delivers the expected outcomes and benefits set forward in initial planning phase
  • Client Success Responsibilities:
  • Setting/managing client expectations and strengthening client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships
  • Acting as the link between the client and departments within the company through building/maintaining roadmap/budget for the client
  • Communicating service level/pricing changes to the client, including initiative invoices through accounting and sending reminders on billing
  • Maintaining correct client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals. This includes monitoring the client’s budget, explaining costs and assisting with negotiating new terms


What you'll bring:


  • Have 6-10 years of web project management experience in the successful delivery of design and development projects in an Agile environment
  • Have excellent project management, analytical and problem solving abilities, with a focus on creative solutions from a strategic perspective
  • Have a passion for Customer Success and be keen to build strong and candid relationships with clients
  • Show passion and measurable results managing key strategic accounts across stakeholders to drive value, retention and uncover expansion opportunities
  • Have the ability to motivate, manage and work collaboratively across functions, stakeholders and levels of management and drive client growth
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Be able to wear many hats. We're a small team and flexibility is key!
  • Have a sense of humour, self-confidence and posses common sense. We enjoy collaborating as a team to strive to achieve common goals

Nice to have


  • Have 2-3 years of eCommerce experience
  • Have Agile or Scrum training (e.g. Professional Scrum Master Certification) preferred
  • Be a curious and rapid learner who can ramp quickly on the nuances of complex industries and technologies
  • Proven leadership, communication, influencing abilities, and entrepreneurial spirit
